The Prodigy retails for around $1,200 and and optics ready Staccato P is $2,500. So almost double the price. To me it’s not worth it for DLC and tool steel internals. I disagree on your opinion the fit and finish aren’t night and day. Tool steel, no crappy cerakote, tighter barrel lockup, and tighter slide to frame….
Both the prodigy's were $1400 OTD at a lgs. so $1,000 savings vs the Staccato for me (for 1 Prodigy vs 1 Staccato). Of course now I want the P, cause buy all the guns. From a locked back slide, with a loaded 20rd mag in my Staccato P, I was able to depress the 10-8 (OEM to Staccato) slide release, and chamber and fire all cartridges. Staccato P is a really good gun and shoots well, but not worth the CA markup to 4k+. Handled the prodigy and the slide to frame fit and action felt smoother than the P. Got a great deal on a NIB 4.25 Prodigy to build like my old Glock days. Hands down Atlas beats Staccato, it’s like the difference between GT500 and an M5.
