I've had an AFM Disabler on my 2022 for almost two years now and it works as advertised. Mine has a button for Stop/Start to disable it, so I don't need a disabler for that. There are cheaper options on Amazon if you choose to go with those options. I know it works on gen9. It disables auto stop and sets no code. I've read a couple posts of it working fine on gen8 and another claiming it didn't. Amazon has a couple reviews of it working on a 2015 Malibu.
